Meet your hosts

One family, eight years of welcomes.

MindCraft Stays is run by one family — Kerli, Kaido, Isabel and Oskar. We welcomed our first guests eight years ago, and we still take care of everything ourselves: from designing each space and preparing it for your arrival to sharing our favourite restaurant recommendations and adding the thoughtful little details that make a new place feel like home.

Every apartment is prepared with the same care we would offer friends and family — and one of us is always close by when you need something, while you keep the privacy and freedom to make the stay your own.

“Kerli and her family are extraordinary hosts, with a kindness and humanity that are hard to find: we will never forget the house where we spent 3 nights in Tallinn.” — Marco

Good to know

The things guests ask us most often, answered properly.

How do I book?

Send us your dates and we will reply with whether the apartment is free and what the stay costs in full. If it suits you, our written confirmation is what makes the booking binding. There is no card payment on this site — nothing you do here commits you to anything until we have both said yes.

Read the full terms
What is included in the price?

Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and utilities, in every apartment. There is no cleaning fee, no booking fee, and Tallinn charges no tourist tax — the total we quote you is the total you pay.

When can I check in, and how do I get the keys?

Check-in is from 15:00 and checkout is by 11:00. One of us normally meets you at the apartment and hands the keys over in person; where that is not practical we arrange a remote check-in and leave them inside for you. Late arrivals are completely normal — we would just rather know. Earlier check-in or a later checkout is often possible when nobody is booked either side, so it is always worth asking.

Is there parking?

Yes — every apartment has free on-site parking, and there is EV charging at each of them. For the Sea-View Loft the in-house space is allocated on request, so mention the car when you write and we will reserve it.

Can I bring my dog?

Well-behaved pets are welcome. Please tell us before you book rather than on arrival, so the apartment is ready for them.

How far is the Old Town?

Between 5 and 12 minutes on foot, depending on which apartment you choose. All four are walking distance from the Old Town, Telliskivi and the sea — none of them needs a taxi to reach the centre.

Are the apartments suitable for children?

Yes. A cot and a high chair are available on request in every apartment, and most of our guests are families. The apartments take between 3 and 5 guests, and children count towards that number, so check the limit on the one you like before you book.

Can I stay longer than a month?

Yes — stays of 28 nights and over are welcome in all four apartments, and are often what people come to us for when they are moving to Tallinn or working here for a season. Write to us with the dates and we will quote for the whole period.

What happens if I need to cancel?

The terms are the same as the ones on our listings elsewhere, so you are never worse off for booking with us directly. Three of the apartments allow free cancellation up to five days before check-in; the Sea-View Loft runs stricter terms. Whatever the policy leaves owing to you we refund, and you will never get a surprise invoice from us.
